The most celebrated of all sailing regattas in Australia, Race Week at Hamilton Island brings together hundreds of yachts and thousands of sailors. Come for the racing, enjoy the onshore events and parties and relax in the Whitsundays.

This is your boat for the week but due to insurance requirements a skipper will be aboard for the racing. You will be sailing the boat with your team every day. Enjoy race week, without the stress.

Your skipper has decades of racing experience including several Sydney-to-Hobart race victories, so you’ll be in the most capable and competitive hands. Trim the sails, take the helm, furl the gennaker as you sail around some of the most famous islands in the Whitsunday archipelago in comfort and style. The Nautitech 40 is a performance-oriented catamaran with an impressive turn of speed – making her a true contender in what promises to be a competitive multi-hull fleet.

The boat has comfortable accommodation for up to six guests during the 8 nights of the regatta (representing a significant saving on shore-based hotel expenses). Accommodation is in Queen and Double berths on board.

Total sailing crew is limited to a maximum of 10 on board while racing, plus your experienced skipper.

The price for 8 nights/9 days – with six days of racing – is $21,800.

Day 1 is regatta registration, welcome drinks and vessel familiarisation with the skipper. Day 5 is a mid-regatta lay-day with no racing scheduled. Racing scheduled all other days. Day 9 is departure day (disembark before 11am).

The price includes:

  • Confirmed Race Week regatta entry (Note: entries are now closed as the event is fully subscribed for 2022)

  • Vessel registration and berthing fees at Hamilton Island Marina for 8-nights

  • Scheduled onshore regatta activities and events

  • Daily pre and post-racing briefings with your experienced skipper

  • 3 x double cabins on board accommodating up to six guests for the duration of the regatta. (Maximum 10 crew for racing).

The boat is entered in the largest multihull spinnaker division with a fleet of 30 competitors. Multihulls will sail passage races using the various Whitsunday Islands as marks of the course.

Food & Drinks for the week:

We do not supply food and drinks this week. (Complimentary water is included). We can assist with provisioning logistics prior to the event. Most sailors tend to enjoy the local restaurants, cafes and bars during the week. The choice is yours.

Onshore Activities:

The event attracts a great line up of musicians and DJ's featuring nightly at various venues on shore. A range of exclusive events can also be booked, such as the Charles Heidsieck champagne lunch, and the Ladies Lunch which take place mid week during lay-day. Golf on nearby Dent Island is an option or enjoy the beaches or bushwalks. The pool party is another popular event.

Race Week 2022 is now fully booked. Call us early to secure your place on the start line at Race Week 2023.
